This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You align with the product strategy, establish clear objectives and identify problem areas, ensuring transparency and cohesion within the team.
• You engage in ongoing product discovery (research, hypotheses, experiments), prioritize based on customer value, business impact, and risk, and make informed decisions.
• You proactively gather requirements in a structured manner, maintain a value-focused backlog, and collaborate with Engineering, Design, and stakeholders to plan iterative releases.
• You consistently evaluate the team’s workflow and take the initiative to implement process enhancements (e.g., through automation or AI tools).
• You facilitate discussions around problem areas instead of merely addressing solution requests, manage expectations, and ensure that strategy, progress, and risks are clear and traceable.
• You establish KPI targets (focusing on outcomes rather than outputs), ensure impact measurement, and take accountability for the success of your initiatives, including review and adjustments.
• Several years of experience in product management or a similar role, with a strong focus on discovery, processes, structuring, prioritization, and agile methodologies.
• Excellent structuring and analytical abilities, with the capability to produce high-quality requirements (e.g., PRD, user stories, process documentation/impact measurement).
• Strong technical comprehension: able to navigate complex system logics, APIs, data flows, and technical dependencies—not as a developer, but as a confident liaison between domain and engineering.
• Ability to articulate complex topics clearly, decisively advocate priorities, and facilitate discussions constructively—particularly when addressing conflicting objectives.
• Proficient in utilizing AI to enhance work efficiency and quality, with a willingness to learn new tools and methods.
• Capable of independently implementing and further developing small tools and prototypes.
• Inquisitive and broadly interested in new methods, approaches, and technologies.
• Continuously reflect on and effectively improve your own actions.
• Make data-driven decisions based on hypotheses, take responsibility for outcomes, and work independently and transparently.
• Proficient in both German and English (at least C1 level).
• Wellbeing: Participate in events such as team activities, summer parties, and regular offsite meetings that enhance team cohesion and promote cross-site interaction.
• Feedback & communication: We address employee needs through regular one-on-one meetings, anonymous employee surveys, and an annual culture feedback process.
• Office benefits: Our offices feature height-adjustable desks, stability balls, complimentary drinks and snacks, and more. You are welcome to bring your dog.
• Quality time: We offer 30 days of vacation per year for full-time employees, along with special internal leave policies and the option for flexible leave. Mobile working is also allowed according to our policy.
• Join us from day one: Experience comprehensive onboarding that covers various topics, a welcome event, and an open-minded team. During onboarding, you will have the support of a buddy.
• On top: Enjoy additional Hypoport perks such as discounts at 300 online shops, a workplace eyewear program, special conditions for a JobRad (company bike), and more.
