This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +44 more states.
• Serve as the Product Owner for a cross-functional team focused on designated states/products, collaborating with key departments such as Claims, Underwriting, Sales/Marketing, Customer Service, IT, as well as external entities including agents, regulators, and industry organizations.
• Proactively creates and implements action plans and strategic initiatives for designated states and product lines.
• Plays a vital role in shaping the strategic direction for product lines.
• Establishes pricing strategies and enhances offerings to drive profitable growth in the market.
• Ensures the quality and precision of work throughout the entire process, including Identification, Analysis, CBA, Implementation, Post Monitoring, and Cross-Functional coordination/communication.
• Maintains alignment with the national model (while allowing for deviations due to regulatory and market conditions) to ensure the successful development of the complete product line(s).
• Holds accountability for the success of products in one or more designated states/products.
• Product lines may include, but are not limited to, Auto and Property.
• Recruits, oversees, and nurtures Product Analysts and Assistant Product Managers.
• Additional functions may be assigned as necessary.
• Minimum: A Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
• Preferred: A Master’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field is desired.
• Minimum: 5+ years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry or 3+ years with a Master's Degree.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Product Manager 1 role or a comparable position.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
• Preferred: 5 or more years of experience with Commercial Multi-Peril products.
