This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Develop and oversee the product strategy and roadmap for the HR & Compensation modules.
• Convert market demands and business cases into specifications for Engineering, UX, and Testing.
• Align cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product Management.
• Plan and execute product increments alongside Engineering, Design, and Marketing teams.
• Provide accurate estimates for broader roadmap initiatives.
• Build and manage the feature backlog, balancing business priorities with technical feasibility and scalability.
• Coordinate feature delivery across agile teams and manage inter-team dependencies.
• Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify opportunities for differentiation.
• Remain accountable for the market acceptance of solutions within the functional area.
• Manage the defect queue with client support and drive SLA-based resolutions with Engineering.
• Present product vision, strategy, and results to executives, customers, and stakeholders.
• Lead sprint reviews to gather feedback.
• Oversee the product lifecycle from concept through launch and ongoing evolution.
• Monitor HR/HCM industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.
• A minimum of 5 years of product management experience.
• Proven experience in owning a product area from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and the HR/HCM business domain.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Solid foundation in product management methodologies, agile practices, and the software development lifecycle.
• Capability to build and prioritize roadmaps informed by data, market research, and competitive analysis.
• Exceptional communication skills and executive presence.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Comfort in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
• Product Management certification such as PMP or CSPO, or an equivalent recognized credential.
• Proven ability to convert ambiguous market signals into successful, adopted products.
• Familiarity with change management processes.
• Working knowledge of Payroll and Talent Management (TM).
• Understanding of Professional Services, Public Sector, Not-for-Profit, or Higher Education sectors.
• This role may require security clearance, background checks, right-to-work verification, personal identification, and work-history disclosure for customer projects and sensitive data access.
