Product Manager, Fintech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Morocco, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Collect and document both business and functional requirements.

• Convert business needs into well-defined, structured technical product requirements.

• Facilitate discussions with customers and assess their business processes.

• Decompose intricate business flows into logical product controls and rules.

• Verify system outputs while identifying inconsistencies, issues, and logical gaps.

• Assist in internal product User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and testing cycles.

• Keep detailed documentation for requirements, product features, and guides.

• Aid in the creation of internal knowledge sharing and product training resources.

• Foster relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Gather product feedback and identify use cases for potential new product opportunities.

• Comprehend products and relay pertinent information to stakeholders.

• Collaborate with Pre-Sales to ensure product compliance and highlight potential enhancements.

• Transform business needs into technical requirements and prioritize them across products with shared engineering resources.

• Contribute to product documentation, including descriptions, roadmaps, requirements, GUI wireframes, design documents, and marketing materials.

• Stay informed about fintech and AML technology trends through relevant forums and market research.

• Work in conjunction with engineering on product development, operations on project implementation, and customers on business analysis and product training.

• Report directly to the Product Management Director in the Technology Business Unit.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in the Mobile Money and/or Fintech sector is required.

• Experience working with or for Mobile Money Providers (MNOs), Fintech companies, and/or Banks is necessary.

• Background in the telecom industry, Revenue Assurance, or Fraud Management is preferred.

• Familiarity with AML, Risk Scoring, Transaction Monitoring, and SAR/STR is an advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are essential.

• Ability to understand systems, products, workflows, and data relationships is crucial.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.

• Proficiency in French is a bonus.

• Clear and structured communication skills to simplify complex ideas.

• Confident presentation skills suitable for both internal and external audiences.

• Ability to ask effective questions, clarify requirements, and communicate with both technical and business teams.

• Strong ownership of assigned responsibilities is expected.

• Capacity to work independently while collaborating across teams.

• Experience or familiarity with databases, including MongoDB and relational databases.

• Experience working with a globally distributed team is preferred.

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field is required.
