Product Manager – Excavators

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Formulate and execute product strategies for SMT GB's excavator lineup.

• Propel growth, profitability, and market share throughout Great Britain.

• Oversee the entire product lifecycle.

• Create and implement product marketing plans targeting specific industries.

• Manage the introduction of new products and continuous improvement initiatives, including advancements in machine technologies, assist systems, and product enhancements.

• Lead activities related to product launches, ensuring that all pre-launch requirements, training, and processes are completed promptly.

• Perform market and competitor analysis.

• Identify opportunities, support sales efforts, and influence future product strategies.

• Serve as the recognized expert in excavator products.

• Provide training, presentations, and technical support.

• Maintain robust relationships with OEM partners.

• Collaborate with Volvo Construction Equipment, sales teams, marketing, and operational stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in excavators is crucial, whether in product management, sales, technical roles, engineering, OEM, or construction equipment sectors.

• Strong awareness of customer needs, market trends, and commercial dynamics.

• Comprehensive understanding of excavator applications and client requirements.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation capabilities.

• Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude.

• Methodical and organized approach to planning and execution.

• Capacity to work independently while effectively collaborating with OEM partners, sales teams, and broader business functions.

• Valid right to work in the UK.
