Product Manager – Data Migration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the strategy, vision, operating model, and roadmap for designated products, capabilities, or enterprise transformation projects.

• Convert business, customer, regulatory, operational, and technology objectives into prioritized and phased delivery plans.

• Set up governance structures, milestones, readiness criteria, and measures of success.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners throughout the implementation, stabilization, and transition to operational ownership.

• Define and refine the product vision, strategy, operating model, governance framework, success criteria, standards, and reusable templates.

• Prioritize and arrange tasks according to business value, risk, readiness, resources, data availability, funding, release schedules, dependencies, and vendor commitments.

• Guide Product Owners, analysts, and delivery teams regarding backlog direction, priorities, expected outcomes, and definitions of completion.

• Oversee requirements coordination, contracting, access, environments, data availability, connectivity, and testing readiness activities.

• Supervise testing, business validation, implementation readiness, cutover or go-live activities, and business approvals.

• Maintain a consolidated view of risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and action items; escalate obstacles and facilitate their resolution.

• Provide exception-based reporting to executives and working teams.

• Monitor outcomes, defects, service performance, and issue resolution during hypercare and stabilization phases.

• Transition implemented products, capabilities, data, or vendor oversight responsibilities to operational owners.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory, privacy, security, contractual, and organizational requirements.

• Advise business owners, technology partners, vendors, and executive leadership on product strategy, readiness, and performance.

• Manage stakeholder expectations regarding roadmap trade-offs, delivery risks, dependencies, and changes in scope or timing.

• Execute other job-related tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, computer science, supply chain, healthcare administration, or a related field is required.

• Equivalent years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the required education.

• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in product management, program management, program delivery, vendor management, data management, business analysis, or a related field is required.

• At least three (3) years of experience leading cross-functional enterprise implementations, integrations, transformations, or operating model initiatives is required.

• Experience in developing multi-program or multi-domain roadmaps and governance or operating models is essential.

• Familiarity with the healthcare payer or managed care industry is preferred.

• Experience working in Agile or governance-driven delivery environments is advantageous.

• Exposure to vendor integration, data migration, platform implementation, core system conversion, legacy modernization, or cloud migration initiatives is preferred.

• A strong understanding of Product Management principles and practices is necessary.

• Knowledge of Responsible AI, AI governance, risk management, and compliance principles is required.

• The ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-focused recommendations is essential.

• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills are needed.

• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities are crucial.

• Capability to prioritize competing initiatives and navigate ambiguity is necessary.

• Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration is required.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills are essential.

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, analytics, and AI-enabled productivity tools is required.

• Ability to assess emerging technologies and identify relevant business applications is necessary.

• Travel is generally not required.
