Senior Data Engineer – LatAm Only

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design and oversee the development of data pipelines, ELT processes, and the data warehouse.

• Create resilient ingestion pipelines that integrate with partner systems.

• Develop extraction, transformation, and loading processes for a variety of data sources.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture and workflows.

• Implement data models within the data warehouse to standardize and denormalize information from various sources.

• Automate workflows by establishing and maintaining a robust data orchestration system.

• Construct integration components that are adaptable across multiple platforms.

• Ensure data integrity by configuring alerts for any data update failures.

• Contribute to the financial infrastructure that supports small and medium-sized businesses across Latin America.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Python.

• Strong software engineering expertise.

• Familiarity with ELT patterns and tools such as Airbyte or Fivetran.

• Experience with data orchestration systems and pipeline tools like Airflow, Astronomer, Dagster, or similar.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL and data modeling with relational databases and data warehouses.

• Experience implementing data modeling and transformation tasks using tools such as dbt.

• Proficiency in git-based version control systems.

• Background in contributing to the architecture and design of data processing systems, including aspects of reliability, monitoring, and scaling.

• Experience in collaborating with analysts, data scientists, and machine learning engineers.

• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery.

• Experience working within the AWS ecosystem.

• Experience interacting with third-party APIs.
