This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Product Management leadership to identify, define, and benchmark current clinical trials products and services.
• Oversee the product lifecycle from inception to launch and iteration, including product replacement and phase-out when necessary, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of Clinical Trials products.
• Define and uphold the product roadmap/backlog and feature-level KPIs, aligning with the needs of end users and customers as well as the Cogstate vision.
• Work with product management leadership to identify, define, and prioritize internal product needs through interactions with business function leaders and regular product swim lane reviews.
• Conduct market and end-user research to uncover unmet needs and prioritize actions in line with business strategy.
• Engage with end users and customers through interviews, focus groups, and other methodologies to maintain a clear understanding of needs and the external environment.
• Develop and maintain end user and customer personas and journey maps.
• Collaborate with key internal business stakeholders to prioritize and align customer requests, translating them into product requirements.
• Convert customer needs into feasible, viable, and desirable product features by working together with design, engineering, product ownership, business, and marketing teams.
• Closely collaborate with the product ownership function to ensure they provide requirements to engineering based on the project/feature scope and priorities set by business stakeholders.
• Work in conjunction with Operations, Product Development, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance throughout the product delivery and software engineering frameworks to support documentation and design needs, including scoping, planning, estimation, QA and QC, and AGILE ceremonies.
• Collaborate effectively with the Product Owner, translating business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa.
• Assist the Engineering and Product Development teams in establishing release timelines.
• Manage stakeholder expectations regarding project scope, progress, and delivery timelines.
• Flexibly take on selected product ownership activities as necessary.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or scientific area (e.g., engineering, computer science, psychology); an Advanced Degree (MBA/MS) is preferred.
• Relevant product management certifications such as AIPMM Certified Product Manager or from Product School are preferred.
• Associated certifications like PMP, Agile, or SAFe are preferred.
• At least 4 years of product management experience, ideally in clinical trials or healthcare environments.
• Proven experience in customer-facing product research, conceptualization, development, launch, and issue resolution.
• Experience in an Agile/Nexus development environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or data-driven product development initiatives.
• Proficient in using Agile/Software management tools such as JIRA.
• Demonstrated ability to launch SaaS features/products on web and mobile platforms within a highly regulated environment.
• Strong conceptual understanding of SaaS architectures and deployment models, APIs, integrations, data flows, and cloud-based systems that handle sensitive information.
• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and artificial intelligence tools.
