This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.
• Engage in the design and development of captivating, challenging, and enjoyable levels that sustain player interest and progression.
• Create and refine game mechanics and features that enhance the core gameplay experience.
• Examine player behavior, game metrics, and feedback to uncover areas for enhancement.
• Collaborate with engineers and artists to realize level designs and features.
• Organize, execute, and oversee A/B tests to validate design choices and enhance player experience.
• Adjust game difficulty curves to ensure a suitable level of challenge and retention across all stages.
• Keep informed about the hybrid-casual and puzzle game market by analyzing competitor games and emerging trends.
• Test and playtest levels and features to guarantee quality and enjoyment.
• Contribute to the product roadmap and strategic vision.
• Work iteratively, rapidly prototyping concepts and incorporating feedback from the team and data.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, artists, and product experts to evolve Helix Jump.
• Assist in maintaining Helix Jump's successful traits while enhancing its quality, gameplay feel, and hybrid-casual/casual live-game experience.
• Over 2 years of professional experience in game design, product specialization, or a related role within the mobile gaming sector.
• A strong enthusiasm for mobile puzzle and hybrid-casual games, coupled with a profound understanding of what makes them engaging and successful.
• An analytical mindset with the capability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven design choices.
• Knowledge of player psychology and the factors that drive engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey design concepts to cross-functional teams.
• An iterative approach with the capacity to swiftly test, learn, and refine designs based on feedback.
• Bonus: Experience with Unity or game development tools, familiarity with A/B testing methodologies, and a track record of shipping successful mobile games.
• Proficient in English.
• Residing within a European time zone (+/- 3 hours from CET) or open to relocation.
