This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the analysis and evaluation of product enhancement requests while overseeing the creation of business requirements.
• Act as an internal and external escalation point for designated products and applications.
• Collaborate with Training, Operations, Information Technology, Administration, Finance, and other functional areas to establish product objectives and goals.
• Execute product strategies for assigned products and services.
• Identify risks during feasibility studies and development, communicating issues to senior product management and leadership.
• Develop market test scenarios and obtain end-user approval for product rollout.
• Create product documentation, procedures, and training across relevant platforms.
• Report and update product and solution performance metrics to the strategic product manager.
• Lead research initiatives and analyze necessary modifications and impacts on existing products and services.
• Coordinate and deliver seminars and training for staff, prospective clients, trade associations, current members, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct meetings, monitor development progress, and communicate status updates.
• Act as the primary liaison to Operational Support departments.
• Work collaboratively on cross-functional teams to develop and implement new or enhanced products and services within established deadlines.
• Oversee the impacts of mandates and industry standards on products.
• Partner with Marketing for both internal and external communications.
• Direct product commercialization activities, including maintenance, mandates, industry requirements, or vendor replacements.
• Ensure system readiness throughout the commercialization process with internal and external partners.
• Maintain, lead, and respond to inquiries related to product-focused servicing tickets.
• Attend Velera-sponsored and industry events as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• A combined four (4) years of experience in product management, technical product implementations, and/or business systems analysis supporting technical products is required.
• Experience within the financial and credit union industry is required.
• Experience with core or account processing is required.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
