This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership of the Search & Discover product domain by acquiring a thorough understanding of the jobs-to-be-done for archivists, records managers, and their users, utilizing that insight to guide the roadmap and impact platform-level priorities.
• Lead the discovery process through user interviews, prototyping, and other research methods; convert findings into clear problem statements and validate assumptions prior to committing engineering resources.
• Collaborate with the UX team to prototype and test AI-driven capabilities early in the development process, while maintaining shared research documentation to ensure findings are accessible and cumulative.
• Align customer needs, product capabilities, and business objectives, advocating for user outcomes and converting them into well-defined requirements that the delivery team can execute confidently.
• Manage the communication between product requirements and technical solutions, collaborating with the Tech Lead on feasibility and trade-offs, and with the ADM on backlog readiness and sprint cadence.
• Anticipate go-to-market (GTM) needs and engage stakeholders around the team's efforts, ensuring successful launches with customer-facing teams and helping customers appreciate the value of what has been developed.
• Gain insights into the competitive landscape for search and discovery within information governance and digital preservation, leveraging that knowledge to enhance prioritization.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Search & Discover, sharing insights with the broader product team and elevating the team's approach to discovery and problem framing.
• Utilize AI to enhance your effectiveness and efficiency in your work, while actively seeking opportunities to improve the wider team's operations through AI-augmented methodologies.
• A minimum of 12–18 months of product management experience, demonstrating genuine ownership of discovery and backlog management.
• Proven ability to conduct user research and translate findings into prioritized, outcome-focused backlogs.
• A strong enthusiasm for product-led growth (PLG) strategies and user-centered product development.
• Experience working in an agile delivery environment alongside engineering and design teams.
• Background in enterprise SaaS is advantageous; experience in content management, information governance, records management, or search-adjacent products is particularly relevant.
• Regularly utilize AI tools to enhance your job performance.
• A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations sufficient to make informed product decisions regarding AI features.
• Experience working on or launching AI-powered features is a bonus, though not required.
