This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal, +4 more countries.
β’ Establish the product vision and roadmap for DBS, integrating guest booking user experience, hotel operations, and AI discovery.
β’ Manage the consumer-oriented booking process, which includes calendars, date selection, room and rate choices, checkout, confirmation, availability, rates, cancellation policies, and PMS/CRS or booking-engine integrations.
β’ Collaborate with Engineering to address product dependencies and potential failure scenarios.
β’ Convert hotel onboarding, reporting, and adoption requirements into product strategies that demonstrate measurable business value.
β’ Oversee product functionalities related to search and AI/GEO visibility in collaboration with Marketing and specialists.
β’ Conduct interviews with hoteliers and travelers and facilitate usability testing.
β’ Transform qualitative and quantitative insights into well-defined priorities.
β’ Establish success metrics and utilize experimental results to inform iterations.
β’ Partner with Design and Engineering to create detailed user journeys, evaluate trade-offs, and implement small practical iterations.
β’ Align Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success teams around DBS objectives.
β’ Take ownership of product outcomes as well as the performance and conversion rates of the booking funnel.
β’ Over 3 years of product management experience with a focus on customer-facing products, particularly in hospitality technology or travel booking.
β’ A relevant and demonstrable connection to the US market.
β’ Proficient in customer research techniques β including interviews with hoteliers and travelers, usability testing, and translating findings into actionable priorities.
β’ Strong analytical and experimental abilities β identifying booking-funnel challenges, testing enhancements, and measuring booking conversion, hotel adoption, and retention rates.
β’ Comfortable navigating detailed user journeys with Design and Engineering, making trade-offs, and implementing changes in small iterations.
β’ Capable of working independently amid uncertainty, prioritizing tasks based on customer and business value, and aligning efforts across Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success.
β’ Experience in hotel technology, B2B hospitality platforms, or B2C travel products that include an actual booking process.
β’ Familiarity with US hotels or travel consumer behaviors.
β’ Understanding of booking-flow intricacies, including calendars, date selection, room and rate selection, checkout, confirmation, availability, rates, cancellation policies, and PMS/CRS or booking-engine integrations.
β’ Ability to analyze traveler booking journeys and hotelier onboarding, adoption, and ROI.
β’ Awareness of how travelers locate hotels through search and AI tools, with a willingness to learn about SEO/GEO capabilities.
