Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead the strategy, design, and implementation of Akamai's Global Services product portfolio encompassing security, content delivery, cloud infrastructure, and AI sectors.

• Develop and oversee managed security and cloud operations offerings to boost adoption and retention rates.

• Collaborate with technology teams, engineering, sales, and operations to enhance packaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.

• Create Product Requirement Documents, specify features with comprehensive acceptance criteria, and generate product documentation.

• Define product roadmaps and determine scope requirements.

• Manage the entire lifecycle for managed, advisory, and support services.

• Formulate pricing, packaging, and positioning strategies.

• Establish product vision and strategy that align with market demands and business goals.

• Monitor operational metrics, revenue outcomes, and feedback to enhance performance and adoption.

• Reduce churn and improve service value.

• Work collaboratively within a team to shape and propel the direction of Akamai's cloud offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant experience in Product Management or a background in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, or edge delivery.

• Proficiency in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field through hands-on experience or equivalent qualifications.

• Solid understanding of Product Management principles.

• Experience with the product lifecycle delivery process.

• Capability to analyze consumer insights, usage trends, and industry developments.

• Ability to identify opportunities, allocate resources, set metrics, and evaluate user impact.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities across engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Clear communication skills.

• Expertise in managing relationships to comprehend use cases, challenges, and desired outcomes.
