This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Develop and implement the national growth strategy for MAPEI’s precast and prestressed concrete division.
• Identify opportunities in the market, analyze industry trends, understand customer needs, and monitor competitive activities.
• Create targeted account strategies within the manufactured-concrete sector.
• Collaborate with regional sales teams to identify, assess, and convert strategic opportunities.
• Establish relationships with key decision-makers among customers and assist in presentations, product evaluations, plant trials, negotiations, and business reviews.
• Act as MAPEI’s subject matter expert for precast applications.
• Work alongside Technical Services and Research and Development to address application challenges, identify product gaps, and create distinctive solutions.
• Assess customer production processes and suggest enhancements.
• Guide the product portfolio strategy, encompassing positioning, pricing, product opportunities, launches, technical documentation, and sales support materials.
• Monitor market conditions, segment performance, competitive activities, pipelines, and financial outcomes; provide forecasts and strategic guidance.
• Represent MAPEI at customer meetings, conferences, trade shows, technical committees, and industry organizations.
• Create training and sales tools while promoting collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Adhere to MAPEI’s Business Management System policies and comply with Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
• High school diploma or GED is a must.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• A combination of education and relevant experience is acceptable.
• Minimum of two years of related industry experience is required.
• Strong understanding of precast and prestressed concrete production, including admixtures, mix design, curing, durability, and architectural finishes.
• Experience in commercial and strategic planning.
• Ability to convert technical performance into customer and financial value.
• Excellent analytical, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Capability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
