Product Lead, Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical design and development of AstroPay's platform.

• Create scalable backend services and APIs for essential financial products.

• Write clean, maintainable, and high-performance Java code.

• Make architectural decisions with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability.

• Contribute to defining the product roadmap from a technical viewpoint, ensuring a balance between business impact and engineering excellence.

• Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical discussions.

• Continuously enhance platform performance, resilience, and developer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in building backend systems using Java.

• Familiarity with designing distributed systems and scalable architectures.

• Previous experience in Payments, Banking, Fintech, or other highly transactional environments.

• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design.

• Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS.

• A product mindset with the capability to comprehend business challenges and translate them into technical solutions.

• Strong communication skills in English (B2+).
