Product Lead, Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

• Transform business challenges into prioritized, testable product initiatives

• Take ownership of the process from discovery to release

• Make informed product decisions and address data and scope inquiries

• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the delivery process

• Convert business challenges into product specifications, user stories, and measurable results

• Manage and prioritize the backlog, oversee dependencies, and ensure work is delivery-ready

• Develop product roadmaps, release schedules, and phased delivery plans

• Identify data deficiencies, missing fields, and necessary decisions

• Offer constructive feedback on designs and functioning software

• Organize and oversee user acceptance testing, defect triage, and business approvals

• Coordinate product launches, migrations, and communication regarding releases

• Establish success metrics, monitor adoption, and guide prioritization using data

• Manage Agile delivery across various teams

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of experience in digital product management and technical delivery

• Demonstrated ability to translate business challenges into clear product specifications, user stories, and measurable outcomes

• Strong ownership of the backlog, including prioritization, dependency management, and maintaining work that is ready for delivery

• Proficient in writing clear acceptance criteria and establishing a practical definition of "done"

• Experience in creating product roadmaps, release schedules, and phased delivery strategies

• Ability to comprehend data models, REST API specifications, and system workflows to identify gaps and assumptions

• Responsible for addressing open data questions, including recognizing dynamic data, missing fields, and necessary decisions

• Strong UX judgment with the capability to provide precise, actionable feedback on designs and working software

• Skilled in balancing customer value, user experience, engineering effort, risk, and delivery timelines

• Extensive stakeholder management experience across business, sales, support, engineering, design, and external partners

• Experienced in planning and leading user acceptance testing, managing defect triage, and obtaining business approvals

• Proficient in planning product rollouts, migrations, and release communications

• Capable of defining success measures, tracking adoption, and using evidence to guide prioritization

• Strong facilitation, decision-making, and written communication skills

• Proven ability to quickly learn technical and industry domains

• Practical experience with Jira, Confluence, and wireframing or prototyping tools

• Good to have: experience managing technically complex, data-heavy, or graphics-intensive products

• Good to have: experience with mapping, geospatial, 3D, visualization, or product-configuration solutions

• Good to have: familiarity with front-end architecture, API integration, and software delivery workflows

• Good to have: experience with analytics platforms and product adoption dashboards

• Good to have: knowledge of experimentation, A/B testing, and hypothesis-driven discovery

• Good to have: experience collaborating with external API providers, technology partners, or enterprise clients

• Good to have: familiarity with accessibility, privacy, security, and applicable regulatory requirements

• Good to have: experience conducting interviews, workshops, prototype reviews, and usability testing

• Good to have: experience coordinating Agile delivery across multiple teams

• Good to have: experience supporting go-to-market strategies, customer onboarding, or product enablement
