This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Serve as the product leader for Financial Services capabilities within AXIS.
• Establish product strategy for membership dues and renewals, road service billing, travel transactions, and packaged sales.
• Collaborate with AAA/CAA clients to gain insights into billing, payments, reconciliation, and reporting processes.
• Identify areas for enhancing operational efficiency, member experience, and financial accuracy.
• Convert client and business requirements into product improvements and functional specifications.
• Work alongside development and delivery teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
• Offer subject matter expertise in credit card and digital payment processing, payment gateways, and POS systems.
• Maintain consistency in financial workflows, reporting frameworks, and payment processing across Membership, Road Service, and Travel modules.
• Assist clients with implementations by validating designs, supporting UAT, and ensuring go-live readiness.
• Bachelor's degree, relevant college diploma, or equivalent business-related experience.
• Background in software product management, business analysis, or solution consulting within enterprise applications.
• Preferably experienced in working with AAA/CAA organizations, auto clubs, or similar membership-based service entities.
• Strong knowledge of payment processing ecosystems, including credit card transactions, gateways, and transaction lifecycles.
• Familiarity with third-party payment providers.
• Solid grasp of accounting principles, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable/Payable, reconciliation processes, and financial controls.
• Exceptional stakeholder communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into product outcomes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Jira, Confluence, and TeamSupport.
• Willingness to travel across North America as necessary.
• Preference for candidates located in the Kitchener-Waterloo area who can operate in a hybrid model and attend the Waterloo office as required.
