Product Engineer – Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Assess, diagnose, and implement solutions for incoming platform tickets from Shared Services.

• Recognize recurring issues and systemic platform deficiencies, then address them at their origin.

• Manage features from inception to completion, including problem definition, design, backend and frontend development, instrumentation, rollout, and subsequent fixes.

• Collaborate with founders, product managers, and designers starting from the brainstorming phase.

• Develop AI product interfaces, encompassing prompt and agent architecture, tool integration, retrieval systems, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop fallback options.

• Create and sustain evaluation suites and regression tests for AI systems.

• Examine session replays, logs, transcripts, support tickets, and customer interactions, transforming insights into actionable changes.

• Oversee latency budgets, token expenses, empty states, error messages, loading behaviors, and keyboard navigation paths.

• Streamline scope and critically evaluate features prior to implementation.

• Enhance team productivity through continuous integration, preview environments, internal tools, seed data, and debugging interfaces.

• Adhere to product, design, and established code review processes.

• Engage in weekly meetings with Engineering, Operations, and Product teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of full stack software engineering experience delivering production enterprise software.

• Hands-on experience in developing internal tools, agent-centric platforms, or operational systems.

• Possess a product-oriented mindset: adept at defining problems, asking pertinent questions, and effectively communicating and prioritizing trade-offs.

• Proven history of swift delivery while engaging within a product and design framework.

• Experience collaborating asynchronously with distributed teams.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.

• Familiarity with Next JS, NestJS, TypeORM with Postgres, and BullMQ.

• Comfortable utilizing agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Replit Agent).

• Experience in API integration (REST, webhooks, third-party SaaS APIs).

• Background in prompt engineering with production AI systems (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar).

• Availability for at least 5 hours of overlap with Eastern Time (Miami) on a daily basis.

• Strongly preferred: experience in creating tools for contact center, customer support, or operations teams.

• Strongly preferred: knowledge of the short-term rental, hospitality, or property management sectors.

• Strongly preferred: proven track record of deploying AI agents in production environments.
