Product Engineer – Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Manage, assess, and implement solutions for incoming platform requests from Shared Services.

• Recognize recurring issues and systemic gaps within the platform, addressing them at their origin.

• Take full ownership of features from inception to completion, encompassing problem definition, design, backend, frontend, instrumentation, deployment, and subsequent fixes.

• Collaborate closely with founders, product teams, and design from the initial concept phase.

• Develop AI product interfaces, which include prompt and agent architecture, tool invocation, data retrieval, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop escape mechanisms.

• Create and sustain evaluation suites and regression tests for AI systems.

• Examine session replays, logs, transcripts, support tickets, and customer interactions, transforming insights into actionable changes.

• Manage latency budgets, token expenses, empty states, error messaging, loading behaviors, and keyboard navigation paths.

• Refine project scope and critically assess features prior to implementation.

• Enhance team efficiency through Continuous Integration, preview environments, internal tools, seed data, and debugging capabilities.

• Adhere to product, design, and standard code review practices.

• Engage in weekly synchronization meetings with Engineering, Operations, and Product teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in full stack software engineering, delivering production-level enterprise software.

• Direct involvement in developing internal tools, agent-facing platforms, or operational systems.

• Possess a product-oriented mindset: adept at scoping issues, posing relevant questions, and effectively communicating and prioritizing trade-offs.

• Proven history of rapid delivery while adhering to product and design processes.

• Experience working asynchronously with remote teams.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.

• Familiarity with Next JS, NestJS, TypeORM with Postgres, and BullMQ.

• Comfortable using agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Replit Agent.

• Experience with API integrations (REST, webhooks, third-party SaaS APIs).

• Background in prompt engineering for production AI systems (OpenAI, Anthropic, or comparable).

• Availability for at least 5 hours of overlap with Miami time (Eastern) on a daily basis.

• Strongly preferred: experience in creating tools for contact centers, customer support, or operational teams.

• Strongly preferred: knowledge of the short-term rental, hospitality, or property management sectors.

• Strongly preferred: a record of successfully deploying AI agents in production environments.
