Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the entire lifecycle of features and products within the consumer platform, which includes Career.io, Resume.io, and related surfaces.

• Act as the product owner, designer, and engineer for the designated domain.

• Develop front-end user interfaces, back-end services, and product instrumentation.

• Continuously and safely ship products using AI tools while ensuring quality, security, and maintainability.

• Establish measurable success criteria, track key metrics, and make decisions to iterate or discontinue work based on data insights.

• Collaborate closely with strategy, design, and engineering teams.

• Make product decisions for uncertain issues and advocate for prioritization choices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated full-stack capability across modern front-end, back-end services, and data management.

• Experience with TypeScript/React or similar front-end technologies.

• Ability to deliver features from start to finish without requiring handoffs.

• Proven history of shipping products from inception to completion, including managing scope, trade-offs, and outcomes.

• Significant experience utilizing agentic AI tools such as Claude Code and Claude Design.

• Capability to showcase tangible work where AI tools significantly enhanced productivity.

• Strong product judgment in ambiguous scenarios.

• Proficient in defining, instrumenting, and interpreting metrics.

• Ability to balance speed, quality, and maintainability effectively.

• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States.

• Nice to have: familiarity with careers, hiring processes, resumes, marketplaces, or high-traffic consumer products.

• Nice to have: knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and contemporary data tools.

• Nice to have: a public portfolio that includes shipped products, open-source contributions, writing, or side projects.
