Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Assume complete responsibility for product features from the initial requirements phase through to production deployment.

• Analyze and articulate technical specifications based on both business needs and user requirements.

• Design, develop, and sustain software solutions across web and API platforms.

• Develop and implement thorough testing strategies, encompassing both manual and automated methods.

• Utilize AI tools and methodologies to improve development and testing processes.

• Implement features for data collection, analysis, and reporting to facilitate business intelligence.

• Work collaboratively with design, sales, operations, and compliance teams to ensure the success of features.

• Provide consistent progress updates and technical documentation to stakeholders.

• Oversee and maintain existing features, proactively identifying and resolving any issues.

• Keep abreast of industry best practices in software development, testing, and fintech technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• 3-5 years of experience in software development with full-stack capabilities.

• Proficiency with modern web frameworks, APIs, and database technologies.

• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and manual quality assurance processes.

• Basic knowledge of product management principles and user experience design.

• Experience in data analysis and a fundamental understanding of AI/ML concepts.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills for technical documentation and updates for stakeholders.

• Capacity to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

• Interest in fintech and a comprehension of compliance requirements (preferred).
