This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

• Required experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)

• Strong foundation in computer science principles and system design abilities

• Thorough understanding of contemporary Machine Learning (ML) and the behavior of Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems in production settings

• Proficient in analyzing technical designs, comprehending architectures, and engaging deeply with engineering teams

• Strong instinct regarding model limitations, hallucinations, evaluation processes, and potential failure modes

• Extensive experience managing complex, technical products from inception to completion

• Practical experience with AI-driven products, especially those based on LLM systems

• Familiarity with model evaluation, experimentation, prompting, or the iteration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems

• Capability to transform ambiguous challenges into clear requirements, measurable outcomes, and actionable plans

• Excellent judgment with the ability to make decisions when the correct answer is not apparent

• Highly technical, inquisitive, and comfortable delving into complex topics

• Strong inclination towards shipping, experimentation, and learning from real-world applications

• Able to constructively challenge engineers and researchers while fostering strong collaboration

• Comfortable taking significant ownership in a fast-paced, zero-to-one environment

• MUST BE WILLING TO TAKE A 60 MINUTE CODING ASSESSMENT

• Preferred: Experience in launching AI-focused consumer products

• Preferred: Background as an engineer or a highly technical product manager
