This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Guide and nurture the PM/PO team through regular one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, and compensation assessments, facilitating each member's professional growth.
• Oversee the recruitment process for the product division.
• Keep the department's competency matrices current.
• Delegate projects to team members based on their skills, interests, and availability.
• Anticipate and balance the workload of the product team, maintaining up-to-date workload forecasts.
• Update other directors on workload status during planning ceremonies.
• Streamline departmental processes to enhance efficiency, including the adoption of AI tools.
• Monitor budgets and timelines for all projects overseen by the product team.
• Assist PM/POs with recovery plans when a project strays from its budget or timeline.
• Establish and track department KPIs related to profitability, performance, and client satisfaction.
• Implement a standardized product management process that guarantees product quality and team effectiveness.
• Ensure a prompt and reassuring project kickoff for clients while fostering strong relationships with key accounts.
• Define the vision for the evolution of the product department and the strategy for integrating AI into its practices.
• Set and supervise the team's quarterly goals.
• Keep an eye on market trends and innovative product practices.
• Promote Thirdbridge's expertise at conferences, events, and through content creation.
• Contribute to Thirdbridge's strategic vision as part of the leadership team and engage in business development activities, including project assessments, client presentations, and proactively identifying needs.
• Demonstrated experience in product management or digital project management, including previous leadership of a team.
• Proficient in managing budgets, timelines, and profitability across multiple simultaneous projects.
• Comfortable with client relations, capable of providing reassurance during project kickoffs and challenging phases.
• Able to transition from strategic vision to operational execution without losing focus.
• View AI as a facilitator for your practice and your team's, and effectively incorporate it into workflows.
• Possess strong product intuition: able to identify a quality product and articulate the reasons behind it.
• Comfortable working within agile frameworks alongside distributed teams.
• Bilingual in French and English, with the ability to operate effectively in a predominantly French-speaking environment.
