Product Designer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop refined, developer-ready Figma design deliverables for comprehensive user experiences.

• Take charge of designated product features and user flows, converting high-level requirements into intuitive, functional visual design outputs.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering, and stakeholders to provide persona-focused, data-informed solutions.

• Utilize user research, analytics, and feedback to enhance design iterations.

• Employ modern AI-assisted tools to streamline repetitive tasks and quickly prototype high-fidelity explorations.

• Actively engage with and contribute to the Extend Design System.

• Participate in design reviews and critiques, offering constructive feedback to colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in product design, with a portfolio that highlights completed work in consumer or B2B software.

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, CS, or a related discipline—or equivalent professional experience demonstrating a strong understanding of design principles and user-centered approaches.

• We seek a designer who offers more than mere wireframes. Your portfolio should showcase high-fidelity mastery, particularly in typography, grid systems, and layout.

• Capability to work within an established design system while recognizing opportunities to enhance or expand components for the team.

• A clear communicator able to articulate the reasoning behind design choices and collaborate efficiently with cross-functional partners.

• Advanced proficiency in Figma (auto-layout, components, variables) to uphold visual consistency and create high-fidelity prototypes that resemble the actual product.

• A solid understanding of how designs translate into code (HTML/CSS/React basics) to ensure practical handoffs.
