Product Designer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the design execution for features and workflows throughout Built’s platform, from initial discovery to final delivery, encompassing draw management, budget tracking, and compliance surfaces.

• Conduct customer interviews, usability testing, and synthesis sessions.

• Develop user flows, journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups.

• Work in collaboration with product managers and engineers to ensure that designs are feasible and accurately implemented.

• Contribute to and uphold the design system.

• Clearly communicate design decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders across various functions.

• Utilize data and behavioral insights to validate and refine design solutions.

• Mentor junior designers through informal feedback and teamwork.

• Utilize AI tools for drafting, analysis, summarization, problem-solving, workflow automation, decision-making, and strategic insights.

• Share effective AI use cases and best practices with the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in product or UX design in a SaaS or digital product context.

• Strong expertise in Figma and prototyping tools.

• Capability to manage end-to-end design for product features independently, from research and problem framing to execution and quality assurance.

• Comprehensive understanding of UX research methodologies, including both generative and evaluative research.

• A portfolio demonstrating thoughtful problem framing and well-executed design solutions.

• Strong and confident communication skills for presenting work, justifying decisions, and integrating feedback.

• Attention to accessibility and inclusive design best practices is a significant advantage.
