Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete Product Design process for essential member experience flows.

• Assess business needs and identify member requirements in collaboration with product, engineering, and research teams.

• Develop flows, prototypes, and design materials, utilizing AI assistance to effectively convey features and functionalities.

• Showcase designs and project milestones to colleagues and stakeholders.

• Facilitate the collection of feedback, its synthesis, and integration into the design process.

• Guide projects through effective communication, decisive actions, and high-quality craftsmanship.

• Perform usability testing, document outcomes, and translate findings into insightful recommendations.

• Advocate for a scalable, accessible, and brand-consistent design system.

• Investigate emerging technologies and agentic design methodologies using Figma.

• Confidence in conceptualizing high-level product vision, recognizing constraints, and enhancing an exceptional member experience.

• Strong foundation in design thinking, with enthusiasm for influencing design strategy rather than merely executing it.

• Exceptional attention to detail along with outstanding visual and interaction design capabilities.

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with Product for requirement gathering, Research for user insights, and Engineering for seamless implementation.

• Exploration of AI tools to expedite rapid ideation, concept exploration, and interactive prototyping throughout the entire design process.

• Proficiency in presenting design solutions and the rationale behind them to stakeholders at all levels.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while working across diverse teams.

• Current knowledge of best practices and trends in web, mobile, and platform design standards.

• Over 4 years of experience in creating high-performance interfaces for mobile, web, and responsive platforms.

• Advanced expertise in Figma, including auto layout, variables, components/variants, interactive prototyping, and Dev Mode.

• Practical experience in developing agentic or automated workflows within Figma, utilizing AI capabilities, plugin-based automation, or connected agents.

• Experience in designing for various audiences, including international users, multi-language localization, and accessibility in accordance with WCAG standards.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Background in designing membership, subscription, loyalty, or rewards-based platforms.

• Familiarity with prompt engineering for design and research applications.

• Proficiency in front-end development and experience collaborating with developers across platform-agnostic frameworks.

• Experience in scaling a design system utilized by multiple teams.
