Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete design process for AI-driven features within the application and the C6 Assistant.

• Engage in daily collaboration with engineering teams, product managers, data scientists, and internal C6 personnel.

• Create intelligent assistants, contextual nudges, advanced search functionalities, generative content areas, and tailored financial advice.

• Establish and refine interaction patterns for conversational user interfaces (text, voice, and hybrid) as part of the Diamond Design System.

• Conduct concept sprints and develop high-fidelity prototypes to ensure stakeholder alignment and validate concepts prior to development.

• Partner with researchers to design and analyze qualitative and quantitative studies, including usability assessments, A/B testing, and diary studies.

• Co-develop design specifications and acceptance criteria alongside engineering, incorporating AI guidelines regarding latency, fallback states, and data updates.

• Contribute to the AI experiences section of the Diamond Design System, which encompasses tokens, components, and documentation.

• Articulate design rationale in English during cross-departmental reviews, global design evaluations, and meetings with international collaborators.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in product design, including a minimum of 2 years dedicated to AI/ML or conversational products.

• A portfolio showcasing full ownership of implemented AI features.

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Advanced skills in Figma, prototyping, design systems, and design tokens.

• Strong understanding of large language models (LLMs), natural language processing (NLP), and recommendation systems.

• Experience with large-scale consumer applications, particularly with a mobile-first approach.

• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to clarify complex decisions for non-designers.

• Plus: experience in financial technology, banking, or regulated sectors.

• Plus: knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA standards and inclusive design principles for AI outputs.

• Plus: familiarity with prompt engineering, AI red-teaming, or responsible AI frameworks.

• Proficiency in Portuguese is advantageous but not mandatory for international applicants.

• Background in service design or systems thinking as applied to AI products.
