Product Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of analytics for a specific set of games or product areas, encompassing KPIs, routine reporting, and in-depth analysis of player behavior.

• Design and evaluate A/B tests for game mechanics and features, from formulating hypotheses and determining sample sizes to the final analysis.

• Develop and sustain dashboards in QuickSight or Power BI utilizing ClickHouse data.

• Collaborate with game designers, product managers, and data engineers to establish metrics and verify accurate tracking.

• Participate in enhancing the BI infrastructure, including data models and the migration of reports.

• Convert stakeholder inquiries into analyses that support decision-making.

• Examine data discrepancies to uncover root causes.

• Oversee dashboards and data pipelines post-release, ensuring data validation and phasing out unused assets.

• Proactively address issues and trade-offs with suggested solutions.

• Deliver analyses with clear conclusions and actionable recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product or data analytics.

• Proficient in SQL: adept at complex joins, window functions, and optimizing query performance on large data sets.

• Experience with ClickHouse is an advantage.

• Practical knowledge of at least one BI tool: QuickSight, Power BI, Tableau, or a similar platform.

• Strong grasp of statistical principles for experiments, including significance, power, peeking, and multiple comparisons.

• Familiarity with Python or R for analytical tasks beyond SQL.

• Capability to communicate findings to non-analysts in accessible language.

• Proficient in English at B2 level or higher.

• Previous experience in iGaming and knowledge of GGR, RTP, bet volume, and retention is a plus.

• Experience with data quality assessments or constructing data pipelines is an advantage.
