This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +3 more countries.
• Collaborate with the Product team to enhance feature development and behavioral interventions through data insights.
• Formulate hypotheses, execute experiments, and evaluate outcomes.
• Perform exploratory and statistical analyses to reveal user behavior trends and performance metrics.
• Create and sustain Mixpanel dashboards to monitor user engagement and overall product health.
• Establish and verify Mixpanel event tracking while addressing any instrumentation issues.
• Utilize SQL to query internal databases and Snowflake.
• Develop Python scripts for data processing, automation, and statistical evaluations.
• Construct and manage Fresh Tri’s Snowflake data warehouse, focusing on schema design and data ingestion.
• Generate and sustain BI visualizations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Engineering to maintain data quality and ensure reliable data pipelines.
• Conduct qualitative user research, including interviews, to supplement quantitative data findings.
• Provide actionable insights to support academic and business reporting.
• Draft methods and results sections for research publications.
• Execute advanced statistical testing for ad hoc analyses.
• Lead or assist with grant-funded projects and submissions.
• Design and implement statistical analysis plans.
• Clean, merge, and prepare datasets for comprehensive analysis.
• Conduct literature reviews and contribute to commercial and client research endeavors.
• Work collaboratively with Product, Engineering, and Research teams on both commercial product development and academic research projects.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Product Analytics, Growth Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related role in support of digital products.
• Extensive experience with Mixpanel dashboards, event tracking, taxonomy, and validation processes.
• Proficient in SQL for both structured and unstructured datasets.
• Experience utilizing Python for data analysis, automation, or processing tasks.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, including managing pipelines, data sources, and visualizations.
• Strong grounding in statistics, covering experiment design, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.
• Capability to interpret and debug application code related to analytics instrumentation.
• Experience with Google Analytics, A/B testing tools, and experimentation frameworks is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, quantitative, or behavioral science discipline is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convert complex analyses into straightforward business insights.
• Inquisitive, collaborative, and focused on making an impact.
