Product Certification Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Perform product certification evaluations across diverse environments.

• Conduct third-party product assessment audits for construction materials, concrete and aggregates, fenestration, EN 1090 steel and aluminium structures, mechanical assembly, fabrication, and welding.

• Compile assessment reports and present findings to clients.

• Advise on the issuance, re-issuance, or withdrawal of certificates in line with BSI policies and procedures.

• Maintain responsibility for designated accounts, ensuring strong partnerships, effective service delivery, and account expansion.

• Lead assessment teams as necessary and provide briefings to team members.

• Supply accurate and timely information to support services and maintain comprehensive client records.

• Organize and prioritize workloads to enhance revenue-generating activities.

• Participate in mandatory training and adhere to BSI procedures, policies, and protocols.

• Manage a portfolio of assigned clients effectively.

• Track client accounts, records, visit schedules, invoicing, and related issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of industry experience in a specific product manufacturing environment, focusing on quality management or product certification.

• A degree in a manufacturing or construction-related field.

• Prior experience in product assessment or auditing against standards.

• Willingness to travel frequently throughout the UK.

• Familiarity with quality management system auditing practices (ISO 9001).

• Previous auditing experience is advantageous.

• Proficiency in quality management systems (ISO 9001).

• 9001 Lead Auditor certification would be a notable benefit.

• Knowledge and skill in preparing for and conducting standardized assessments related to auditing practices.

• Capability to manage a portfolio of assigned clients based on location, qualifications, and contract requirements.
