
Product and Seasonal Sales Forecaster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop forecasts for new and seasonal product sales for UK Retail, utilizing both historical data and anticipated demand trends.
• Assist in translating sales figures into purchase orders by providing initial allocation, waste and tolerance assumptions, along with suggested phasing.
• Collaborate with the UK&I Retail team to assess and generate realistic forecasts, aiding them in comprehending the implications of final forecasting results.
• Identify potential impacts on all year-round (AYR) product sales when applicable.
• Partner with the UK&I Finance Business Partner and broader finance teams to ensure alignment with financial forecasts, while flagging possible variances for stakeholder discussions.
• Work alongside UK&I Retail and Brand Teams, in conjunction with the Commercial Analyst, to analyze and interpret market trends, ensuring demand signals and forthcoming strategies are accurately captured in product forecasts.
• Continuously pursue process enhancements to boost forecast accuracy and optimize launch schedules.
• Keep abreast of current retail operations, visual merchandising standards, and product quality in shops to improve product forecasts and understand sales and ordering patterns.
• Monitor, modify, and report on each forecast by organizing and leading regular review meetings, ensuring representation and accountability from all relevant business areas.
• Provide stakeholders with a summary of each review, detailing forecast adjustments, financial implications, and ongoing strategies.
• Maintain organized and precise records of all new and seasonal product forecasts stored within the Central Forecasting Team drive.
• Generate pack size recommendations for UK manufacturing based on forecasts that are appropriately sized to allow flexibility across all shops within the UK and Croatia supply chain.
• Collaborate with the Product Operations Lead and UK&I Retail in areas where your expertise and skills can directly contribute to team and company objectives. This may include providing ad hoc analysis, supporting peer and manager development, or participating in larger projects.
• Establish and maintain seasonal archives for new ranges, to be leveraged by the broader forecasting network.
• Offer feedback and product insights to a network of global forecasters through new product samples and information gathered via product launch channels and operational meetings to aid global forecasts.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in spreadsheet applications, including Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong financial acumen, excellent commercial awareness, and exceptional product knowledge.
• Commitment to the presentation and clarity of your work, ensuring that every chart and summary is user-friendly and actionable for stakeholders.
• Naturally inquisitive and eager to explore the reasons behind trends and anomalies.
