Product Analyst – Life & Annuity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the overarching Product Roadmap to ensure deadlines and milestones for Product Development and Product Implementation are met, while demonstrating adaptability as project priorities may change or timelines are adjusted.

• Aid in the development and upkeep of checker tools and calculators that support new products, riders, enhancements, and remediation efforts within the Administration and Illustration systems, alongside any relevant production requests.

• Assist in the preparation and evaluation of Model Office/UAT test plans for new products, riders, enhancements, data feeds, and remediation tasks across various systems, collaborating with both internal and external partners.

• Support the execution of Model Office/UAT testing for new products, riders, enhancements, data feeds, and remediation tasks across multiple systems.

• Provide additional assistance in Product Development and Product Implementation, which includes reviewing and creating Product Specifications, Business Requirement Documents, Checker Tools, and policy forms, while demonstrating a strong understanding of current system functionalities.

• Offer support for routine business operations, such as fulfilling policyholder service requests, handling data analysis requests, and dissecting existing system product calculations/mechanics in a prompt and efficient manner, which may involve manual calculations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

• Knowledge of life insurance and/or annuity products is essential, with a preference for experience in Indexed UL and Fixed Indexed Annuities.

• Strong technical, analytical, organizational, computer, and teamwork skills are necessary.

• A minimum of 3 years of technical/professional experience in the financial services industry is preferred.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment while managing multiple projects and responsibilities.

• Familiarity with insurance administration and illustration systems is required.
