This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluates the performance of designated products to pinpoint issues and potential opportunities;
• Investigates innovative concepts to enhance product offerings;
• Assesses new rating models to validate prediction accuracy, improve loss ratios, and refine segmentation;
• Analyzes and designs algorithms utilizing SAS programming and MS Excel;
• Generates reports, graphs, and charts based on extensive research and analysis;
• Contributes to the development of business plans and forecasts while recognizing trends;
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to communicate and execute product modifications within assigned states and lines of business;
• Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business or a related field (e.g., Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Actuarial Science);
• Minimum: At least 1+ years of experience in product management, product development, and/or analytics within insurance, financial services, consulting, or a comparable industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Preferred: Experience in data manipulation using tools such as SQL, R, Python, or similar;
• At least 1+ years of experience in property casualty insurance, with knowledge of product, pricing, underwriting, and insurance regulations;
• Familiarity with utilizing AI in research and analytics;
• Experience in creating reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, etc.;
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SQL is required;
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and lead projects to successful completion is necessary;
