This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to develop product analytics for the core platform by defining essential metrics, events, funnels, and methodologies for assessing user experience.
• Design and uphold the event tracking framework, ensuring that data remains comprehensive, consistent, and reliable among product and technical teams.
• Uncover insights throughout user journeys, segments, and platform usage scenarios, while automating their regular identification.
• Create and refine dashboards, alerts, and analytics infrastructure utilized by product and engineering teams for daily decision-making.
• Provide data support for product hypotheses: corroborate concepts, assess feature impact, and assist in prioritizing the roadmap with solid evidence.
• Convert user behavior into clear, actionable recommendations, aiding teams across the organization in making data-informed decisions.
• 6-8 years of experience as a Product Analyst or Data Analyst in a product-focused IT company (experience in B2C platforms, SaaS, or marketplaces is advantageous).
• Proficient SQL skills with a strong ability to work with substantial datasets.
• Practical experience with product analytics tools (such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA4, or similar) and BI tools (like Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar).
• Comprehensive understanding of product metrics including activation, retention, conversion, funnels, cohorts, and unit-level user behavior.
• Experience in designing event taxonomies and establishing tracking from the ground up or significantly enhancing an existing setup.
• Familiarity with A/B testing and a foundational knowledge of statistics for evaluating experiments.
• Capability to transform ambiguous product queries into structured analyses and clear recommendations.
• Nice to Have: Proficiency in Python or R for analysis and automating recurring insights.
• Experience collaborating with platform/infrastructure products or technical stakeholders (engineers, architects).
• Background in developing analytics processes in a team where analytics previously did not exist.
• Excellent communication skills: ability to convey findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
