📋 Description

• Take ownership of the measurement framework: establish and refine our fundamental product metric definitions (activation, engagement/session definitions, retention) while ensuring consistency across teams.

• Facilitate self-serve analytics: create blueprints and standards to empower PMs and Engineering with self-service analytics capabilities.

• Collaborate with PMs and Engineering: serve as a consulting partner to help shape hypotheses, interpret results, and guide decision-making.

• Enhance reporting reliability: develop streamlined processes and governance to identify data issues early.

• Metric systems: define and uphold a metric hierarchy that links leading indicators to business outcomes (retention, activation, revenue).

• Funnels & journeys: examine onboarding, activation, and critical workflows; pinpoint drop-offs and the most impactful fixes.

• Engagement & retention: perform cohort analysis, assess feature adoption, analyze stickiness, and identify power-user behaviors.

• Experimentation & evaluation: collaborate on experiment design, success metrics, and post-launch evaluations.

• Dashboards & narratives: design dashboards that promote action and compose clear reports that aid teams in making swift decisions.


⛳️ Requirements

• You possess 4+ years of experience in product analytics, product data, or data analytics within a SaaS product context.

• You are proficient in SQL (complex joins, nested/event-shaped data, and capable of validating results).

• You have familiarity with user analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel or Amplitude), including dashboarding/reporting and collaborating with Engineering on instrumentation.

• You have a track record of defining core SaaS metrics and creating reliable, trusted reporting.

• You have experience working alongside Product and Engineering teams to influence roadmaps or execution.

• You possess a robust analytical toolkit.

• You have strong technical fluency: you are comfortable engaging with event data and can work with engineers on instrumentation and data modeling.

• You possess exceptional communication skills: you can articulate findings to executives and individual contributors, influencing without authority.
