This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Collaborate with designated accounts to inspire sales personnel to exceed established sales targets within the territory.
• Possess foundational knowledge of both residential and commercial construction, along with a comprehensive understanding of window and door products. Position yourself as the fenestration authority for the assigned accounts and clients, including a thorough understanding of the competitive environment.
• Skillfully read, interpret, and extract information from blueprints to assist customers in acquiring and expanding their new construction builder business.
• Proven ability to build strong business relationships within an account, as well as develop and maintain personal connections with clients.
• Demonstrated capability to mentor and train others on sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Facilitate planning sessions that lead to actionable strategies and ongoing dialogue, enabling the achievement of sales targets.
• Maintain regular communication with Sales Management and Marketing, providing insights and feedback on products, programs, and policies.
• Formulate Business Plans with accounts to enhance sales performance and achieve sales objectives.
• Aid accounts in fostering builder relationships to secure and sustain new business opportunities.
• Represent Pella at trade shows and events.
• Accountable for executing sales activities to meet the objectives set for the territory. Contributes ideas for strategic initiatives to enhance sales and profitability.
• Manage a personal budget for travel and training expenses.
• This role serves as the main communication link between the company and the customer; therefore, the representative is tasked with accurately representing the Pella brand and product offerings.
• Responsible for addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly to optimize customer satisfaction within Pella's business guidelines.
• Expected to utilize customer relationship management software while working remotely. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
• Must be able to meet travel requirements of 50%-75%, including overnight stays; must hold a valid driver's license.
• Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or five to ten years of relevant experience in the construction sector; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
