This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of vendor contracts, encompassing sourcing, negotiation, execution, renewals, and compliance.
• Create pricing models, rate structures, and cost analyses to facilitate proposals, renewals, and program planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that contractual terms meet technical, operational, and financial requirements.
• Keep precise records of agreements, amendments, obligations, and vendor performance metrics.
• Assist in vendor onboarding, qualification processes, and ongoing relationship management.
• Ensure the timely acquisition of software, hardware, services, and licenses needed for RangeOS deployments.
• Work with finance and program management to forecast expenditures, monitor budgets, and manage cost efficiencies.
• Act as the main point of contact for vendor escalations, queries regarding contracts, and commercial negotiations.
• Assess vendor proposals, pricing structures, and contract conditions to ensure alignment with program requirements.
• Evaluate risks, dependencies, and commercial implications associated with vendor agreements.
• Provide cost estimates, procurement timelines, and contract recommendations to leadership.
• Draft, review, and enhance statements of work, pricing schedules, and contractual deliverables.
• Maintain a prioritized list of upcoming renewals, expirations, and procurement activities.
• Verify vendor invoices, ensuring pricing accuracy and compliance with contracts.
• Assist in competitive sourcing initiatives to secure the best value and alignment with mission objectives.
• Maintain contract files, pricing models, procurement logs, and records of vendor performance.
• Document procurement workflows, outcomes of negotiations, and the rationale behind decisions.
• Prepare communications for vendors, contract summaries, and customer-facing pricing documentation.
• Exhibit strong written, verbal, and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences.
• Monitor vendor performance, service levels, and delivery commitments.
• Facilitate regular vendor reviews and coordinate corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure vendors comply with security, operational, and compliance requirements pertinent to cyber training environments.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in DevOps.
• Possession of the 8570 IAT Level II certification.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Delivery and DevOps Pipelines.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and general practices for containerization development, security, deployment, and management.
• Experience with GitLab/Bitbucket code repositories and automation testing platforms (e.g., Jenkins, Zypher).
• Proven experience in implementing DevSecOps, DevOps, or IT/Security automation to support multiple teams.
• Understanding of and capability to implement DevSecOps using best practices for private and commercial cloud environments, including design, operation, monitoring, and deployment in private and hybrid cloud settings.
