Procurement Staff Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Utilize DC Water's Oracle ERP system on a daily basis to track solicitations, manage vendor information, and oversee contract milestones.

• Support the complete sourcing process, assessment, and awarding of intricate capital construction and Architecture & Engineering (A&E) service contracts.

• Prepare and review solicitations, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Invitations for Bids (IFBs), scopes of work, and formal modifications to contracts.

• Ensure that all contract activities adhere to DC Water procurement regulations, federal guidelines, and local statutory requirements.

• Organize evaluation panel meetings.

• Record vendor inquiries and responses.

• Maintain thorough, audit-ready contract documentation.

• Provide direct assistance to a Procurement Official in managing procurement portfolios for extensive utility infrastructure projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated practical experience in navigating and executing procurement processes within Oracle ERP.

• A minimum of 3+ years of direct experience in managing procurements specifically related to construction or Architecture & Engineering (A&E) services.

• Experience in utility or public sector settings is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of qualification-based selection processes for A&E.

• In-depth knowledge of competitive bidding practices for construction projects.

• Familiarity with contract administration procedures.

• Outstanding professional written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with DC Water project managers and external contractors.
