Procurement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist in procurement activities for the Energy & Natural Resources team

• Create tender documents

• Distribute RFPs and oversee clarifications

• Assess bids and conduct bid leveling

• Negotiate contracts and prepare necessary documentation

• Monitor contract progress

• Collaborate with clients and other consultants throughout various project phases

• Manage technical interfaces and commercial aspects of plant EPC

• Adhere to relevant SOX control responsibilities

• Engage in procurement projects related to utility-scale solar, wind, and BESS

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of procurement or commercial experience in utility-scale solar, wind, or BESS, including EPC or BOP contracting

• Proven experience in executing competitive RFPs, bid leveling, and contract negotiations for construction scopes

• Familiarity with HV interconnection, civil, and site preparation scopes

• Knowledge of plant EPC interface management

• Preference for experience with ECI, PCSA, and unit rate and quantity true-up structures

• Awareness of local and regional civil and clearing contractors in active markets

• Comprehensive understanding of the entire procurement process, from tender document creation to evaluation, negotiation, contract documentation, and monitoring

• Strong attention to structure and detail

• Excellent collaboration and negotiation abilities

• Proficient in reporting

• Capability to engage with clients and other consultants at all stages of projects

• Compliance with SOX control responsibilities where applicable
