Procurement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee vendor performance in terms of SLA, quality, and cost efficiency.

• Develop and sustain a scalable network of vendors across various regions.

• Assess and replace vendors that are underperforming.

• Identify and evaluate potential hardware suppliers and field service partners.

• Compare technical and commercial alternatives in alignment with internal standards.

• Carry out the procurement of hardware, materials, and services.

• Analyze bids, negotiate pricing, and manage contracts effectively.

• Monitor and control costs on a per project and work order basis.

• Detect inefficiencies and work towards reducing unnecessary expenses.

• Benchmark vendor performance across different regions and categories.

• Coordinate the delivery of hardware and ensure vendor availability.

• Track project timelines to guarantee readiness for execution.

• Prevent delays that may arise from missing materials or vendor misalignment.

• Support project execution by ensuring vendor alignment with timelines and scope.

• Monitor execution performance metrics such as response time and resolution time.

• Ensure that vendors meet operational SLAs consistently.

• Identify and resolve recurring issues effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–8+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or field operations.

• Proven experience working with suppliers, contractors, or technical vendors.

• Background in sourcing hardware or managing service providers.

• Strong skills in negotiation and cost management.

• Ability to thrive in execution-intensive environments.

• Analytical mindset with comfort in handling cost and performance data.

• Strong sense of ownership and decision-making capability.

• Comfortable integrating AI tools into daily workflows.

• Fluent in Spanish with intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.
