Procurement Sourcing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Accountable for delivering sourcing and procurement services to clients.

• Oversees the complete sourcing and procurement process from sourcing and purchasing to settlement.

• Identifies diverse and competitive sources for raw materials, utilities, and other services.

• Guarantees the timely availability of materials in the supply chain and maintains inventory at acceptable minimum levels.

• Tracks inventory requests, production schedules, and purchase requisitions to align purchasing activities with current and anticipated material and service demands.

• Gathers suppliers’ quotations and assesses bids.

• Selects and identifies suppliers that align with the organization’s standards for price, quality, and delivery.

• Negotiates terms and manages relationships with suppliers.

• Influences external stakeholders regarding policies, practices, and procedures beyond immediate job responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement sourcing and category management.

• Familiarity with basic procurement law, along with the ability to negotiate and oversee master supply agreements, professional services agreements, statements of work, change requests, and amendments.

• Background in one or more of the following procurement categories: Marketing, Human Resources, Professional Services, and Financial Services.

• Proven history of leading the sourcing process while collaborating with stakeholders across various businesses and regions.

• Demonstrated capability to communicate effectively, influence, and establish relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong team player mentality.

• Strong negotiation skills with the capability to independently negotiate large volume, high-risk deals.

• Robust supplier management skills.

• Experience in an eSourcing tool environment is a plus.
