Procurement Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and enhance the capabilities of the Operational and Strategic Procurement team.

• Strategically plan, oversee, and consistently improve material flows and inventory levels.

• Take responsibility for qualifying new suppliers and nurturing relationships with existing ones.

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement measures to simplify processes.

• Standardize procedures and tools in accordance with corporate policies.

• Define and refine the procurement strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders.

• Evaluate international procurement markets and establish robust supply chains.

• Encourage cross-functional teamwork and ensure effective interface management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in Business Administration and/or Engineering.

• A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in operational procurement.

• Demonstrated experience in navigating complex matrix organizations.

• Proficient communication skills in English.

• Strong expertise in MS Office, SAP, and standard procurement tools.
