This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete daily operational workflow of the procurement team, ensuring that all Purchase Orders are placed accurately and punctually.
• Regularly maintain and revise the procurement team’s contract tracker, guaranteeing that cross-functional data inputs are precise, current, and well-organized for leadership visibility.
• Conduct audits, updates, and maintenance of inventory records to eliminate discrepancies, optimize stock levels, and ensure data integrity is upheld.
• Handle daily communications with suppliers, aiding in the resolution of delivery adjustments and monitoring lead-time metrics to avert supply interruptions.
• Acquire knowledge and assist with the daily management of the sugar and sweetener category, observing baseline market data to ensure supply continuity.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager, Procurement - Ingredients, to oversee inventory tracking for specialized ingredient lines.
• Establish structured rhythms and standardized processes for daily operations to eliminate administrative bottlenecks as the team expands.
• Ensure clear, highly professional communication with the supplier network to hold vendors accountable for lead times and contractual obligations.
• Foundational knowledge in procurement or supply chain operations, with hands-on experience in managing supplier inventories, tracking vendor lead times, or supporting logistics coordination.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (including experience with VLookups and Pivot Tables), with the capability to maintain data integrity in inventory records and contract tracking databases.
• Previous experience interfacing with buyers and assisting with supply chain escalations as needed.
• Strong communication abilities, enabling the enforcement of supplier accountability while fostering collaborative relationships.
• Proven tolerance for ambiguity, with the capacity to pivot swiftly, remain composed under pressure, and troubleshoot when supply chain disruptions occur.
• A meticulous approach to data entry and record-keeping, ensuring that contract trackers and inventory figures are highly accurate.
• Familiarity with navigating Material Requirements Planning (MRP) files or ERP system data outputs is an advantage.
• Experience in managing or assisting with a raw material or agricultural commodity category is a plus.
