Procurement Analyst – Technology & Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development of category strategies and sourcing plans for technology and IT expenditures, including software, hardware, SaaS, and services.

• Manage RFx processes, vendor assessments, and contract negotiations pertaining to IT expenses.

• Process purchase orders and ensure that approvals are obtained in accordance with policy.

• Oversee daily vendor interactions, addressing inquiries and outstanding issues, while ensuring timely payment of invoices.

• Review and scrutinize requisitions to ensure compliance and clarity in requests.

• Analyze spending and market trends to identify savings opportunities and minimize supplier risk.

• Assist in the contract lifecycle management, covering renewals, license optimization, and SLA monitoring.

• Utilize AI tools to expedite spend analysis, RFx documentation, contract assessments, and reporting.

• Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Legal departments.

• Report directly to the Director of Procure-to-Pay.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years in procurement, sourcing, or vendor operations, preferably with experience in both technology category sourcing and tactical operations.

• Proven experience in executing RFx processes, conducting contract negotiations, and vendor evaluations for IT or technology-related spending.

• Familiarity with IT concepts, such as cloud infrastructure, software licensing, SaaS models, and IT service agreements.

• Exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple procurement workflows simultaneously.

• Proficient in procurement or ERP systems, with a preference for Workday.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities.

• Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment as well as independently in a remote work setting.

• Practical experience utilizing AI tools to automate or enhance workflows.

• Demonstrated capability in leveraging AI tools and technologies to optimize workflows, improve decision-making, or foster innovation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience (preferred).

• Sourcing experience within a mid-to-large organization (preferred).
