This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Prepare and distribute Requests for Quotations/Proposals.
• Place and manage purchase orders along with related change orders.
• Conduct price analysis and negotiate pricing, delivery, scope, and terms and conditions.
• Oversee daily purchasing operations to ensure that programs receive necessary materials, goods, and services.
• Draft purchase orders and documentation in accordance with company guidelines, contract flow-downs, and work instructions.
• Handle activities related to post-award purchase orders.
• Address medium to high complexity issues in alignment with FAR/DFAR and corporate standards.
• Collaborate with Program, Operations, Quality, Engineering, and other functional teams.
• Investigate products, suppliers, and material options.
• Monitor supplier proposal status and adherence to Raytheon RFPs.
• Assist program proposal teams and centralized quoting teams for Raytheon proposals.
• Manage supplier performance and the purchase order lifecycle for DoD, FMS, and DCS clients.
• Aid procurement for R&D, proposal capture, engineering manufacturing and development, and low-rate production initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in supply chain and related systems.
• Experience or knowledge in procurement, production control, materials management, planning, or operations.
• U.S. Person status or the ability to obtain necessary export authorizations.
• Familiarity with or adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) is preferred.
• Experience in leading formal negotiations is preferred.
• Background in supplier performance management is preferred.
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
• Experience in reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, engineering documents, and complex SOWs is preferred.
• Knowledge of EXIM procurements and relevant rules and regulations is preferred.
• Familiarity with import/export regulations (ITAR/EAR) is preferred.
• Experience with automation tools is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and effective collaboration skills are preferred.
