Procurement Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Formulating and executing procurement strategies that are in line with the company’s goals.

• Overseeing the solicitation process, which includes reviewing and comparing specifications and costs, and where necessary, assisting in negotiations with vendors to minimize expenses.

• Engaging in negotiations regarding terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the most favorable prices and agreements.

• Creating tools and processes to facilitate efficient and quality-focused procurement activities.

• Keeping abreast of current market trends and developments within the industry.

• Directing transformational initiatives to enhance the organization’s procurement capabilities and boost procurement efficiency.

• Delivering value and competitive edge as measured by cost reduction and avoidance, vendor-enabled innovation, and risk mitigation.

• Ensuring adherence to compliance in the purchasing process, particularly in vendor selection and bidding.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, economics, or a related field is required, or an equivalent international qualification.

• A minimum of five years of professional experience in life science procurement and outsourcing.
