This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +6 more states.
• Take ownership and expand sales within a designated Midwest territory.
• Market complex analytical and process instrumentation to clients in sectors such as Chemical, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, and Biotechnology.
• Formulate and implement a targeted territory and business development strategy.
• Oversee key accounts and cultivate relationships across various decision-making tiers.
• Collaborate with internal technical and corporate teams to provide an outstanding customer experience.
• Monitor opportunities and activities through the company CRM.
• Regularly achieve or surpass sales targets.
• Demonstrated success in selling complex capital equipment or technical solutions.
• Experience in managing a significant, high-potential sales territory.
• Excellent consultative selling and account management abilities.
• Capacity to articulate technical and economic benefits.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• 6–10 years of pertinent sales experience (or an equivalent mix of education and experience).
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (up to 60–70%).
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Capability to work autonomously in a remote, field-based position.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check, education and employment verification, and a 10-panel drug test (including marijuana).
