This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Deliver remote, on-demand assistance for client law firms on both short-term and long-term legal initiatives.
• Oversee California probate administration cases from the initial filing to the final distribution and closure of the estate.
• Draft and submit probate petitions, pleadings, inventories, accountings, and other court documents related to probate.
• Collect and arrange estate assets, financial records, and necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with personal representatives, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and court officials.
• Organize court filings, hearings, and deadlines associated with probate administration.
• Create and maintain orderly probate files while juggling multiple ongoing matters.
• Take proactive steps to advance probate matters and anticipate the needs of attorneys.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Paralegal, specifically in California probate administration.
• Comprehensive knowledge of California probate processes, court regulations, and filing protocols.
• Proven experience in preparing and filing probate petitions, pleadings, inventories, accountings, and other relevant court documents.
• Capability to manage probate cases from initial filing through to final distribution and estate closing.
• Familiarity with gathering and organizing estate assets, financial records, and supporting documents.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with personal representatives, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and court personnel.
• Experience in coordinating court filings, hearings, and deadlines for probate administration.
• Ability to prepare and sustain well-organized probate files while overseeing multiple active cases.
• Knowledge of California e-filing procedures and probate case management systems.
• Outstanding drafting, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Keen attention to detail and the capability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
