This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Build and nurture relationships within the Private Equity ecosystem to cultivate strategic and sustainable sales momentum.
• Identify and engage with Portfolio Operations leaders, Operating Partners, and Value Creation directors within targeted funds.
• Utilize an established professional network to gain access to highly exclusive PE environments.
• Employ PE-specific financial and operational terminology to establish trust and credibility.
• Navigate intricate PE procurement processes to secure Master Service Agreements within portfolio companies.
• Position RRD as a key contender for initiatives addressing operational inefficiencies and cost reduction.
• Broaden RRD’s presence across multiple targeted portfolio companies.
• Cross-sell and scale RRD services into additional portfolio assets.
• Introduce specialized operational assessments during pre-acquisition due diligence and throughout long-term holding phases.
• Leverage early assessments to foster goodwill and secure comprehensive execution contracts.
• Collaborate across functions to deploy specialized delivery teams effectively.
• Drive execution of signed MSAs, assessment engagements, and revenue generated from PE relationships.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field is required.
• A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Experience as an ex-management consultant from MBB, Big 4, or a tier-1 operations consulting firm, particularly in Private Equity or Post-Merger Integration practices; or as a former COO, VP of Sales, or VP of Operations who has successfully scaled and exited a PE-backed portfolio company; or as a boutique PE-origination specialist with a demonstrated history of selling professional services directly to PE funds.
• Must be physically located in a primary PE hub: New York City, Greenwich, CT, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco/Silicon Valley, or Los Angeles; secondary consideration will be given to Austin, Miami, or Atlanta.
• In-depth understanding of PE financial metrics such as EBITDA, IRR, Multiple Expansion, and the 100-Day Plan.
• Capability to align RRD’s services with PE financial and operational goals.
• Proficient in low-volume, high-trust Account-Based Selling strategies suitable for lengthy, complex institutional sales cycles.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to effectively deploy specialized delivery teams.
