Privacy and Cyber Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business units and other stakeholders to create and implement privacy and cybersecurity compliance procedures, trackers, registrations, and calendars throughout the organization.

• Establish scalable processes with suitable automation for privacy impact assessments, data subject requests, and related workflows.

• Oversee privacy evaluations of vendors, products, systems, and business processes.

• Assist in incident response for data breaches and other privacy-related incidents.

• Design and deliver privacy training and awareness initiatives across the organization.

• Generate privacy metrics, dashboards, status reports, and audit-ready documentation for internal stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, including an associate's degree in law, information security, data analytics, or a related field.

• Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to confidentiality and ethical practices.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the capacity to translate requirements into clear tasks, records, and actionable guidance.

• Four to six years of experience in privacy, cybersecurity compliance, legal operations, regulatory compliance, or a similar operational role.

• Proficiency with AI and/or automation tools (e.g., Power BI), with proven experience in automating routine processes.

• Proven ability to establish and manage recurring compliance processes, meet multiple deadlines, document effectively, and coordinate cross-functional follow-ups with minimal supervision.

• Experience supporting a multinational privacy, cybersecurity, or similar compliance initiative.

• Background in handling privacy requests, assessments, records of processing, vendor reviews, regulatory trackers, or compliance audits.

• Familiarity with reviewing vendor and third-party contracts, particularly regarding privacy or security provisions.

• Understanding of response processes for privacy and data incidents.

• Possession of CDPSE, CIPT, CIPP/E or /US, Security+, or other relevant privacy or cybersecurity certifications.

• Proficiency in the Slovakian and/or German languages.
